Family law is the focus of my Ann Arbor-based practice, where I represent individuals and families in a variety of family law matters. My approach to the practice of law is tempered by more than two decades of clinical social work experience. I help my clients develop practical solutions based on the particulars of their own circumstances. There is no substitute for personal attention and responsive service. I bring interdisciplinary insights and skills to achieve the most favorable outcomes for my clients.

I listen to what my clients hope to achieve and provide them with detailed explanations of their options. I give my clients personalized attention and ensure that they understand their options. Whenever possible, I try to resolve matters collaboratively in an effort to reduce financial and emotional costs of family law matters. While I prefer a non-adversarial approach, I am always prepared to litigate if that is best for my client.
